Three controls: draft it, picture it, tidy it

Where you meet it in practice. Not a separate tool but three buttons inside the editor you were already using, and what each one does.

What it does

The three controls

Draft, from a line of instruction

You tell it what the piece is about and it fills the editor. The text is editable straight away rather than locked in a preview.

Make an image for the post

It generates a picture from a description, so a post that needs something visual does not stall waiting for a photograph.

Tidy what is already written

Spelling and phrasing on text you wrote yourself. The most useful of the three, and the one people forget is there.

How it works

Using them

  1. Open the editor for a post, an email or a page.
  2. Write a line of your own first. It gives the draft something to work from.
  3. Use draft to fill it out, or tidy to clean up what you wrote.
  4. Generate an image only if the post needs one.

Worth knowing

Worth knowing

  • Generated images look generated. For a trade selling on real work, a photograph of the job beats one of these every time.
  • Tidy will smooth out your voice along with your typing. Read the result before accepting it.
  • It works from a line of instruction. A vague line gets a vague draft, and that is the whole skill.
