Choosing who gets the next hour

Tracking leads is not the hard part. Choosing between them is, and it usually gets decided by whoever called most recently.

Picking the next lead to work from the board 17s

What it does

What changes

Age is visible, not remembered

A card shows how long it has sat in its stage. The quiet lead going cold stops being the one you forget.

Value sits beside age

You can see what a job is worth next to how long it has waited. That is the comparison the choice needs.

The choice takes seconds

One screen, one glance. No hunting through an inbox to work out who is still waiting on you.

How it works

How it goes

  1. Open the board and look at the stage nearest to closing.
  2. Find the card that has sat longest for the money it is worth.
  3. Open it, read the last conversation, and make the call.
  4. Move the card before you pick up the next one.

Worth knowing

Worth knowing

  • It shows you the choice. It does not make it, and the obvious card is sometimes the wrong one.
  • A board that is not kept current gives confident wrong answers. Stale cards are worse than no board.
  • Value on a card is your estimate. Judge it accordingly.
